Unlike the large power catamarans that carry upwards of 149 passengers, Trilogy’s boats average 40-50 guests. Patrons aboard are afforded a more spacious sailing experience, allowing their crew to provide individualized attention with superior quality of service. This includes the crew learning the names of all guests and treating each individual like part of the ‘ohana (family). This level of customer service has won the repeat loyalty of guests and their word-of-mouth recommendations, allowing Trilogy to remain as Maui’s #1 Sailing company for the past 45 years.
Trilogy’s lead Special Events Coordinator, Jenny Coon, moved to Maui in December of 2009 after graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Auburn University. In 2012, she joined Trilogy with two years of experience as an Assistant Manager in Recreation for the Four Seasons Resort Wailea. Trilogy was the perfect blend of jobs she loved most: assisting guests in the planning of their Maui vacation and delivering 5-star experiences. Soon after her arrival at Trilogy she met and fell in love with one of Trilogy’s Captains, Riley Coon. They wed shortly thereafter. Having organized a successful destination wedding week for her family and friends visiting from all parts of the US, she realized she not only enjoyed timelines, details, and working with vendors but was actually an expert at planning and sticking to a budget! Jenny quickly put this same enthusiasm and expertise into Trilogy’s Weddings department, and since then has been the lead coordinator on over 100 wedding events. Her experience and dedication to excellence allows every Trilogy bride the comfort and assurance in knowing their special day is in the best of hands.

Trilogy’s Sales & Events Manager, Linda Lindquist, is the newest addition to the Trilogy Weddings team. Linda came to Maui from Southern California over 14 years ago and loves the island lifestyle! Her many years of luxury hotel experience with the Ritz Carlton and Grand Wailea- a Waldorf Astoria Resort, have instilled a passion for delivering exemplary, stellar service. Linda is dedicated to creating lifelong memories for all of our guests through personalized service and attention to all of the many details- no matter how small. Linda enjoys working with brides and grooms from the first phone call to the execution of their special event. The energy and excitement of a wedding is what drives Linda to ensure complete satisfaction of each of our wedding couples.

Trilogy’s Director of Sales and Marketing, LiAnne Driessen, has over 9 years of experience working within the ocean recreation and hospitality industry. She has coordinated countless events for specialized groups ranging in size from 50-300 people. Her background in Conference, Meeting, and Incentive travel, lent itself naturally into wedding coordination and specialized group charters. LiAnne received her M.B.A from the University of Portland with a focus in Marketing. This niche study has lent itself to the creative planning process with her clients: specifically, in structuring the complex timeline of a wedding week and the budgeting that goes along with it. LiAnne is sensitive to follow the vision of each guest while bringing inspired ideas to add that extra pop of “WOW” to her client’s special day.
